HB Coocafé is the perfect blend from our 9 small co-ops produced by more than 3.500 coffee growers affiliated to Coocafé. Our co-ops have improved sustainable coffee production technics, both on their farms and in the mills. As a main result, our coffee grows under a shade canopy and we increasingly use organic fertilzers to maintain the natural eco-systems. As well, all of our co-ops are in the process of obtaining ISO 9002 Quality Certification and ISO 14001 Environment Certification. Four of our mills are already certified ISO 9002 and 3 have already achieved ISO 14001 Certification. Buying HB Coocafe coffee ensures a great cup of Costa Rican coffee and you can know that you are supporting small farmers and their efforts towards sustainablity. |
